| I
had a ringside seat to last night's Republican debate in
Cleveland -- so I was paying close attention to what was
said up on that stage. There were some pretty scary ideas being thrown around -- and even scarier, not even a single mention of voting rights, climate change, or a serious plan to help the middle class. But the even more terrifying reality is that next year in Cleveland, one of those 10 voices will become the Republican Party's nominee for president (you know, unless one of their many, many benchwarmers surges into contention -- or yet another candidate decides to throw his or her hat in the ring). We can't let any of those candidates or their policies anywhere near the White House. As Democrats, our work begins now to make sure we elect a leader who shares our values and progressive vision for the future. We need your help to make sure our eventual nominee and Democrats up and down the ticket will have the resources they need to run and win in 2016. Can we count on you to pitch in $10 or more today? |
