If the pharmaceutical industry likes your prescription drug plan, it's probably not a good enough plan. Unfortunately, Big Pharma seems to love Hillary Clinton's plan, because they get to keep making a ton of money:
The Hill: Drug lobby favors Clinton proposal to cap costs
"PhRMA CEO Stephen Ubl says in a new interview... that the group favors Clinton’s proposal to cap a patient’s share of a drug’s cost at $250 per month. Importantly for PhRMA, the proposal does not affect the full price of the drug, it just means that the insurance company will pay a larger share, as opposed to the patient."
Bernie does things differently. We don't need to protect Big Pharma's profits. We need to actually lower the cost of prescription drugs to be in line with what the rest of the world pays.
Big Pharma's given more than $2 million to get Clinton elected. But Bernie can't be bought.
We're proud to have a prescription drug plan that Big Pharma's not going to like. That's good news for working people.
In solidarity,
