Steven,
I just got back from the Secretary of State's office, and I wanted to pass on the good news.
Elizabeth just dropped off 28,378 certified signatures -- taking the next critical step toward getting her name on the ballot this fall.
Earlier this week, Scott Brown turned in a box of 13,281 signatures to the Secretary of State. We were proud to more than double that number with what Elizabeth carried in this morning.
With more signatures on the way before the May deadline, this demonstrates the huge grassroots support behind Elizabeth, and all of your incredible work to get her name on the ballot.
If you still have signature papers, keep on collecting and having those vital one-on-one conversations with voters. We've talked to tens of thousands of voters throughout this process already. We know it's not easy to stand outside of grocery stores and community centers to collect signatures. Early supporters and volunteers like you are the backbone of this campaign.
I want you to know how much we appreciate all the work you're doing to collect signatures, knock on doors, and make phone calls for Elizabeth. I hope we can continue to count on you -- and your friends and neighbors -- now through Election Day.
Thanks again for making today possible!
Tracey Lewis
