Dear Steven,

Let’s say, hypothetically, that you think that we need a revolution. Wages have stagnated for 40 years. The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. More than 30 million Americans still can’t see a doctor when they are sick. Virtually every pol is bought and paid for. Maybe you believe that we need more than incremental change; we need a revolution.

Q. How could that happen?

A. Only with your help.

If you want it, then you’re going to have to do something about it, something to make it happen.

If you support our campaign today, you show me that you want real change, and that you’re willing to make that happen. You won’t accept so-called leaders who have sold out to lobbyists, special interests, billionaires and multinational corporations. You want a Senator who is unbought and unbossed, following in the footsteps of Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and the late Paul Wellstone.

It’s people like you who show people like me that it’s still possible for ordinary citizens to take charge and make lives better, by coming together. If you too believe real change is possible, and you’re willing to help make that happen, then contribute before tonight’s fundraising deadline, right here and right now:

This is the political revolution that you’ve been waiting for. Its fate is in your hands. Will you join it?

Courage,

Rep. Alan Grayson
