There was a sudden rise in minor earthquakes that was attributed to the pumping of industrial waste into underground storage. The threat was so serious that such pumping was halted. I\u2019m off to track down the story of the earthquake in Indiana, <a title=\"Earthquake story\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wthr.com\/story\/13760207\/indiana-earthquake-strikes-in-rare-location\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Indiana earthquake strikes in rare location<\/strong><\/a>, to see if it is near any natural gas wells that have been subject to fracking<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>After writing the above paragraph, I did the research and added the results to the end of that post.<\/p>\n<p>That link above to the <a title=\"U.S. Army story about what it knew in 1966\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rma.army.mil\/cleanup\/facts\/deep-wel.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Rocky Mountain Arsenal<\/strong><\/a> showed that the U. S.
