I may be one of the few voices saying this, but I hope for a rejuvenation of the entire NBC\/MSNBC news operation now that Tim Russert’s evil influence is gone.<\/p>\n
No longer will I have to turn off the Nightly News with Brian Williams<\/em> when Tim Russert threatens to make an appearance on that show.<\/p>\n I wonder if Meet The Press<\/em> can return to its glory days now that he is gone?<\/p>\n Countdown with Keith Olbermann<\/em> seems to be the only NBC\/MSNBC to have escaped most of Russert’s influence while he was still here.<\/p>\n I am sure it is a terrible loss for his friends and family. On the other hand, the world of professional journalism and the political climate in this country may improve tremendously. It is sad to leave such a legacy.
