I found the article at <em>Truth-Out.org<\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Some politicians \u2014 including Senator Bernard Sanders, independent of Vermont, and Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat running for Senate in Massachusetts \u2014 argue that Mr. Dimon\u2019s position at the New York Fed further compromises regulatory oversight. \u201cMr. Dimon should not be in a position to have such influence on a major regulator,\u201d Ms. Warren said. When asked on PBS\u2019s \u201cNewsHour\u201d last week about JPMorgan, Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner said that regulators needed to \u201cbe above any political influence.\u201d He did not say Mr. Dimon should resign from the Fed, but he acknowledged that the perception of a conflict was \u201ca problem.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I wonder if the junior Senator from Massachusetts has a position on this issue?\u00a0 Maybe he is too busy doing genealogy on Elizabeth Warren.\u00a0 That is certainly easier than understanding banking at the level that Warren does.<\/p>\n<p>You and I know why <em>The New York Times<\/em> has not published Scott Brown&#8217;s opinion on JPMorgan.\u00a0 Come to think of it, The Boston Globe hasn&#8217;t said much about his opinion either.\u00a0 The Globe seem to have its own fish to fry, and it does not relate to the major concerns of its readers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The New York Times, parent paper of The Boston Globe, has the article Bank Regulators Under Scrutiny in JPMorgan Loss.
