Near the beginning it says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Voters ages 18-29, a core part of the Democratic party&#8217;s coalition, made up 13 percent of the national electorate this year, compared to 19 percent in 2012, representing approximately 14 million fewer young voters&#8211;an early estimate based on exit polling and the number of votes cast for the House of Representatives.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Then it goes on to give you lots more fascinating pieces of data.\u00a0 Remember that as Nassim Nicholas\u00a0 Taleb said in his book <a title=\"Amazon listibng of The Black Swan\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Black-Swan-Improbable-Robustness-Fragility\/dp\/081297381X\/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1415929816&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=the+black+swan\" target=\"_blank\">The Black Swan<\/a>, and here I paraphrase, people run into trouble not so much in telling what happened historically, but they run into trouble when they try to tell you why.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, I have been raving on about why it happened ever since the election.\u00a0 So trust me, folks, I am an exception to what Taleb said. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CBS News has the story The young voter turnout in 2014.
