A fifteen minute ride from our house, and we could see performances like this.  <em>Pink Martini<\/em> being a homegrown favorite in Portland, we had many chances to see them in many different venues.<\/p>\n<p><em>WikiPedia<\/em> has an interesting <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thomas_Lauderdale\" title=\"Thomas Lauderdale bio\" target=\"_blank\">biography of Thomas Lauderdale<\/a>.
