The <em>WikiPedia <\/em>article <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vaccine_court\" title=\"Wikipedia article\" target=\"_blank\">Vaccine court<\/a> provides some perspective on the &#8220;vaccine court&#8221;.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nVaccine court is the popular term which refers to the Office of Special Masters of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, which administers a no-fault system for litigating vaccine injury claims.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To add even more balance until you topple right over, you might want to refer to my previous post <a href=\"http:\/\/ssgreenberg.name\/PoliticsBlog\/2010\/12\/21\/bad-science-quacks-hacks-and-big-pharma-flacks\/\" title=\"Previous post\" target=\"_blank\">Bad Science: Quacks, Hacks, and Big Pharma Flacks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I can imagine how the author of the aforementioned book might respond to some of what is in <em>The Charlotte Observer<\/em> article mentioned above.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nToday, two of the Blacks\u2019 oldest children have children of their own, and they\u2019re struggling with vaccine decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen, now 22, has a daughter who\u2019s had some vaccinations, but when she was 12 months old, after getting the MMR for measles, mumps and rubella, she \u201clost all the verbal skills she had attained,\u201d Theresa Black said. The child is now getting fewer vaccines at a time. At 20 months, she\u2019s seeing a speech therapist to help regain what she lost.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The fact that two generations of this family have had problems might indicate to some that there is an inheritance of the sensitivity to vaccines.
