We have seen how people intimately connected to profiting from oil sales can think strategically about energy policy.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe this is like the old\u00a0 hangover remedy. More of <a title=\"Wikipedia explanation.\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hair_of_the_dog\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>the hair of the dog that bit you<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Sarcasm Warning Off!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sure she stood up to the oil companies.\u00a0 Her complaint was that Alaska wasn&#8217;t getting enough of the take from the oil profits and the oil companies weren&#8217;t taking oil out of the ground\u00a0 fast enough.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Sarcasm Warning on!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like a drug street dealer standing up to the drug supplier because there wasn&#8217;t\u00a0 enough drugs to push and the cut to the street dealer wasn&#8217;t big enough. In a Bush\/McCain administration this would be a recommendation for a position of Drug Czar.<\/p>\n<p>In this case the Governor is pushing oil. She might be put in charge of energy policy.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Sarcasm Warning Off!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>It is clear that Barack Obama was right.\u00a0 John McCain just doesn&#8217;t get it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sarcasm Warning on!
