Olympia Snowe (R-ME).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 1em 0em;\">Tell the White House that the support of one Republican isn&#8217;t worth a bad bill.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 1em 0em;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/salsa.wiredforchange.com\/dia\/track.jsp?v=2&amp;c=KW3B%2F3ufrSbPIfBMoXZShoKRCw6Uas4j\"><strong>PLEASE SIGN OUR EMERGENCY PETITION TO PRESIDENT OBAMA TODAY:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"margin: 1em 0em;\"><em><strong>Medicare For All<\/strong><\/em> is the better name for the so called <em><strong>Public Option<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Also remember that Olympia Snowe is the Republican who is so proud that, to save money, she stripped some state and local aid from the stimulus bill.\u00a0 Now the state and local governments are cutting jobs due to lack of these funds.\u00a0 This is the exact opposite of the purpose of the economic stimulus package which was to save and create jobs.\u00a0 It is well recognized that Snowe&#8217;s meddling on this bill has made it significantly less effective.<\/p>\n<p>Why let Olympia Snowe proudly destroy another needed part of an important legislative initiative?\u00a0 If she represents moderate Republicanism, we don&#8217;t need any such moderation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got an urgent email from BoldProgressives.org.
