It\u2019s a free button for your Web browser\u2019s toolbar (get it at <a href=\"http:\/\/lab.arc90.com\/experiments\/readability\" target=\"_\">lab.arc90.com\/experiments\/readability<\/a>). When you click it, Readability eliminates everything from the Web page you\u2019re reading except the text and photos. No ads, blinking, links, banners, promos or anything else. Times Square just goes away.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It works as advertised on a few web pages that I have tested it on.\u00a0 It might take a day or so for me to figure out if it is really worth it.\u00a0 It is very easy to add to your browser.\u00a0 Once you do, you can apply it on this blog.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Follow this link to the article in The New York Times.
