47 Traitors! Biden, Others Rip GOP Senators Over Iran Letter 10

If You Only News has the story 47 Traitors! Biden, Others Rip GOP Senators Over Iran Letter.

Here is what Democratic leader Harry Reid, and Illinois Senator Dick Durbin, had to say about the letter, on the floor of the Senate, via C-SPAN:

Yeah, what they said!!!

I guess they couldn’t bring up the October Surprise conspiracy theory about Ronald Reagan because at least even he was smart enough to cover his tracks sufficiently so that there was at least some doubt in some peoples’ minds that he actually did it. Besides, you can’t tie what Reagan did to an entire party.

Gee, I thought you and I were perfect 🙂

That was a weak attempt at humor as were some of my other comments such as being upset that Stewart was “going all even-handed on us”.

Seriously, I am glad that this discussion has led to uncovering more information than we knew about when we started.

Yes, I remember now. He seemed to be getting into false equivalency territory, something he doesn’t often do but likes to do occasionally to keep himself above the fray, as it were, and show there’s humor in everything? Anyway he isn’t perfect, who is?

Mardy, I am not sure I understand your comment. Perhaps you didn’t understand mine either. Did you watch his video clip to the end. He starts out skewering Republicans, but then he brings up situations where Democrats appear to be doing to Bush similar undercutting to what the Republicans are doing to Obama. He also shows Republicans complaining about the Democrats who are doing it. So it is not as unprecedented as I have been making out.

What do you think about that part of the video?

  • Marden Seavey

Well, he’s first a comedian and then a commentator identifying Faux, i.e. Fox news. The comedian part of him is what defines him and he clearly loves the role. Just my feeling. Could be wrong, or inapplicable.

Mardy, Search for Jon Stewart’s comments on Comedy Central, and tell me if you find anything on this topic.

I listened to it, Steve. Yes, what they said! Only seven of those Repubs did not sign, including our senator Collins from Maine and the one from Alaska, at two ends of the country.

That snotty nosed turtle faced Mitch McConnell probably enjoyed sticking it to Obama again, not to mention what the ultimate bone head, Boehner, thought, if he thought anything.
