Since it was McCain and Graham that kept goading Obama into some kind of macho action on Syria, maybe Obama is pulling a double twisting half gainer to get the Republicans to do what he wants without them knowing it.
As usual, some Republicans are now against what Obama is doing, even though they originally insisted on it. So he calls their bluff, gets them to vote no, then can do what they say, and not bomb Syria.
Could the Republicans look anymore foolish when they complain about Obama’s inaction in Syria because he never should have asked the Republicans for their permission in the first place?
One can only hope.
